I had much bigger plans for Janet.

In the beginning I had planned to have her as a major part of the supporting cast as part of Kate’s circle of friends.

And then she met Brian… Things kind of went down hill from there.

Since then when she wasn’t obsessing about Brian she was just Laurel’s occasional sidekick when she wasn’t just a generic face in the crowd.

With any luck this will be the first step in giving her more depth and screen time.
