Hope everybody has a very Happy New Year!

This year’s song is Levy-Dew a traditional Brittish song of Welsh origin, because when you have Michelle do this gig every year Auld Lang Syne gets old fast. It’s a nice little song though I imagine the way Michelle sings it has a much faster tempo than the way it is performed normally.

The two women singing backup are a pair I have only ever referred to as “Michelle’s Posse” and haven’t shown up for years. They were kind of my tip of the hat to Rumiko Takahashi who would frequently give her female leads two best friends who only really served as a girls’ chorus for said lead to talk to.
