I apologize for leaving this plot line hanging since Kris “invited” Kate for coffee here.
Let’s just say it went like just about any other lunch or coffee meeting that Kate has had with Kris. Comfortably sure that she didn’t agree to anything but left with an uncomfortable feeling that she missed something. And after something like that who wouldn’t leave work as soon as possible to crawl into their lover’s arms for a glass of wine or three?
