To the best of my knowledge the whole schtick with the mirrors is exclusively western folklore… but I couldn’t resist the temptation to rip off the ballroom scene from The Fearless Vampire Killers/Tanz Der Vampire  in the form of the spirit ball, sorry.

Also it was fun having Paul and Nancy doing the time warp in the foreground.
