Well the final day went okay. Today I brought my friends other son, Carter with me. I figured it made for good politics to let him have my extra pass since I had brought his brother Whealon the day before to help me man the table and I didn’t want anyone to feel left out. Turned bringing Carter along was a much better than I anticipated. The friend I had gotten to help me for the day showed up at four (I didn’t ask) So it turned out Carter’s help was extremely appreciated.

The day went okay. I had mostly given up on making a profit the day before I focused on the networking with the intent of giving out all of my cards by the end of the day. (Having said that I did sell one more book) Talking to a few of the other vendors it sounded like I wasn’t the only one who did poorly. The general consensus being that there was just too much competition for people’s money and very few people seemed to have much interest in anything new.

Having said that, I did get a few opportunities to get out and explore. Because of the crowds I didn’t really get to network the way I hoped to but I did get to talk briefly with a few people on my list most notably Danielle Corsetto, Randy Milholland and Kory Bing.

Anyway as always it was a good con but I’m still glad it’s done for another year.
