Janet was first introduced as Kate’s accountant all the way back here. Kate is not the only person who suspects that’s why Brian hired her. Not that he’d mess with other people’s clients, honest!

Lisa’s experience with interviewing isn’t as impressive as it seems. The first time, there were no good applicants besides Blossom. The second time, Hilda scared everyone besides Suma away.
Hilda is clearly more of an optimist than her boss is. For once, being constantly booked is working in Kate’s favor.
Letting Blossom talk her into things is one of Hilda’s few weaknesses. Lisa remembers the last time she saw “Blossom” wear her dress.
Hilda continues to obsess about the dress. Even though she outdid herself in everything else, she’ll consider the night a failure no matter what the others tell her.
