In today’s strip we return to Nancy’s favorite baseball team the Providence Night Gaunts who have just won the American League championship and are about to play the hometown National League champions, the Homestead Pilots, In the world Series.
Rachel is an administrative assistant at Nancy’s firm first seen here. As you can see she hasn’t lost her talent for putting her foot in her mouth.

Rachel isn’t exactly Nancy’s one friend at the office but she is someone who’s been blindly loyal to her ever since she mistook her for… someone who wasn’t Ms. Wellington. She’s yet another character I regret not using more.
As Rachel says, when you have someone like Nancy as your supervisor it’s best to just follow orders… It’s safer that way. No really! The tribunal will understand, honest!
