Tuesday Rhapsodies

In today’s Rhapsody we finish off  Hugo Alfven‘s selection of Swedish Rhapsodies with his third, the Andante (Dalecarlian rhapsody) Op.47. I rather like this one the beginning has a nice slow almost subliminal quality that reminds me very much of Wagner‘s overture to Das Rheingold.
