Rhapsodies

Once again we arrive on May fourth, the anniversary of Alice’s dream. For all the reasons I believe this go here.

Anyway here’s the Alice going down the rabbit hole from Jonathan Miller’s 1966 version. Despite the lack of costumes or any overt fantasy elements I think this is one of my favorite versions. He captures the dream like quality better then most of the others and Anne-Marie Mallik, the actress who played Alice. Is one my favorites capturing the complete unflappability of the laic in the books.
