Brian and Tara’s definition of progress is just a little bit different. Also assuming that Brian would ever forget about Kate is just wishful thinking.
Even though he’s rushing to the bus giving her ten minutes of his time seems very charitable of Brian. Obviously Danielle disapproves.
Obviously what Brian considers to be “dumb stuff” is extremely relative.Of course to Danielle this is all just his inability to perceive genius. (probably because he thinks it’s norman)

We last saw Danielle McManus try to be convincing to Brian here… It didn’t work very well. Though she does seem to be considering the same approach Rowan is insinuating.
While it may be traditional to compare parts of the real world with the jungle, Brian really needs to be more careful with his metaphors. They give Janet too many ideas.
The dinner Ariane says Brian owes her works as a “previous engagement” that Rowan can use. Besides… It’s good for a laugh, isn’t it?
