Nancy was definitely trying to get Nikki out of her hair. However, nothing she made her do could be considered a hazing ritual. Benny actually is a nice guy once you get to know him.
Obviously, Nancy isn’t as bad as Gage thinks she is. (Most things aren’t.) But she’s not going to correct him when it keeps him behaved around her.
