As you know from earlier Kate really isn’t rescuing Fran and Olive from anything (and even if the Hide Behind was real, it’s visiting its parents in Arizona) but there’s a lot to be said for the placebo effect.
It looks like Hilda is still taking her self-appointed duty as Kate’s minder seriously… and Kate can’t get anything by her as that scary stare shows.

Well it looks like Hilda’s standing firm on Kate’s schedule (or at least what she say’s Kate’s schedule is)
