I frequently wonder how Gage would have to go through before he finally snapped. Happily, so far this is all purely hypothetical.
It’s easier for Gage to worry about other people’s problems, they’re less likely to hurt him. Dielle reminded Gage of their upcoming night out just last week.

Considering Brian and Nancy’s implied history, Nancy making out with Paul in from of him might just be considered a subtle message.
Considering what happened the last time Brian showed up when they were together Paul’s not complaining at all.
