For someone who hasn’t encountered Brian before, I’m sure Brian would have appreciated some social niceties.
We met Jim McManus’s sister here and, much to Rowan’s surprise appears to have friends… Or at least sycophants.
Comparing Notes
Rowan and Jim seem to have an interest in comparing notes over their… difficult siblings. They might even be a bet going by the end of the night.
Whether money exists or not (and whether it matters either way) has something that has poured to Brian before.(not that it’s something he’s particularly coherent in the matter.)
And Kate would rather owe Rowan a favor than any “unconditional” things Brian would do for her. That hasn’t stopped her from exploiting his obsession occasionally.
