For the record, Fedya did not makeup Ded Moroz, Grandfather Frost, the Russian Santa Claus, or his granddaughter, Snegurochta the Snow Maiden. He delivers toys on Novy God, New Year’s Eve, which, depending on what calendar you use, is either December 31st or January 7th.

Fedya’s more than happy to celebrate both.
