Rhapsodies

For the record I’ve never seen any of the Evil Dead films in their entirity. I know the basics of the plot which, for the purposes of stories like this, is enough. I’ve found from a creative standpoint, it’s good to be completely wrong about how the story you’re basing your story. It means that beyond the basic inspiration,  you’re not being derivative and can go in your own direction. So the only similarity between this and the sourse material is finding a mysterious tome in a basement.
