Make no mistake, I love Hilda dearly, but sometimes I regret adding her to the main cast. The problem is that she can technically provide the answer to half the problems in the strip. It can be really difficult to come up with reasons not to have her just knock on Kevin’s door, or just make Brian disappear.

The best excuses I can come up with is exploiting her obsession with protocol and the fact that most of the people she’s subservient to get distracted easily. Even then it feels a little bit forced.

From a continuity situation, I don’t know when Lisa told the others about her texting and hidden maneuvering with Rowan at the restaurant.
