Rhapsodies

It occurred to me that this is a nice example where a phrase remains common but it’s original origin fades. I’m pretty sure “wind someone up”, meaning to troll someone or just generally mess with them is still commonly used (maybe it’s just me) but I don’t think many people under thirty have much experience with clockwork.
