This is not the first time Hilda has made nice with Kris so it’s not much of a surprise that Hilda included her in the invitation. Perhaps it’s because there’s very few things that frighten Hilda, she has a hard time regarding anything as a threat. So, there’s no reason for Kate to be surprised.
