Gossip is extensive albeit flawed in Paul’s family. For example, the family assumes that Nancy is his fiance and they are living together.
In reality, Paul sleeps over at Nancy’s on average three times a week and Nancy sleeps over at Paul’s whenever her housemates get on her nerves.

At the moment, neither would dream of moving in together. It’s too much like giving up.
