Brian may not pay that much attention to Janet as a person, and he’s oblivious to her feelings for him, but he has a nearly encyclopedic knowledge of most of the accountants in Homestead. He knows her work. The fact that she’s done a lot of that work for Kate has her on his radar.

For better or worse, things could work out for Janet.
