Happy New Year
A very happy New Years to everybody.
Michelle’s singing a mangled version of the Robert Burns poem, Prologue Spoken At The Theatre Of Dumfries New Year’s Eve 1790. The mangling was done by your’s truly to make it sound more like a song and more up to date.
It’s mildly frustrating just how few New Year’s songs there are out there and, for my purposes, that even fewer of them are copyright free.
After all if it’s the Rhapsodies tradition to have Michelle opening the New Year with a song, “Auld Lang Syne” gets old fast.
