I’m sure that Brian and Laurel being partnered together in a team-building exercise is one of those random chance things. Honest.
Rest assured, no musketeers are involved in any of Brian’s business ventures. People tend to get a little put out by that sort of thing.
Tara isn’t that interested in the political ramifications of Brian’s plans. Even if she’s indirectly responsible for some of them.
So, it looks like Tara was paying attention to the main point of Brian’s meeting. So much so that she can even guess what Laurel’s opinions are. All of them
