Rhapsodies

I have a confession to make. When I started writing this storyline about supper and conversation at a pizzeria. The first thing I thought of was the usual jokes about people arguing about toppings. From there, the next thing that occurred to me was the ongoing argument about Hawaiian pizza and pineapple on pizza. (Personally I like it, but it’s not my favorite) There are considerably more “Pacific states” In this comic’s setting. So, it occurred to me there might be styles even more controversial than Hawaiian pizza, such as, say… Filipino pizza.

As soon as I thought of this, I figured I better look it up, so I didn’t make a fool out of myself. I found so many tasty recipes, I thought it would be much better to have a setting where Filipino pizza was so ubiquitous, that in the northwest, it’s considered the norm.
