Renting?
One story beat I’ve been thinking about is after letting Kevin have a room in the basement, Shilo’s been thinking of trying to make a profit by renting his numerous extra rooms. I began to imagine Shilo turning the house into a boarding house for the band.
Of course, when I bounced this idea off of the usual people, they told me everything that was wrong with it.
While I haven’t given up on the idea… yet, there’s not much humor in making things easy.
