Speculation is a  science fiction periodical that includes short stories as well as critical essays. As Nancy will tell you, it’s one of the magazines that “real fans” read.

Having it amongst the periodicals on the coffee table in the new waiting room  is one of Michelle’s latest ways of trying to convince Nancy to start working full-time. Whether this will work or not remains to be seen, but Nancy’s keeping the magazine.
