Rhapsodies

I admit it, I’m a TVTropes addict. During my many dives through it, I’ve come across a trope called “Remember the New Guy“. It refers to adding a brand new character into the story, pretending they’ve always been there. It’s generally considered lazy writing. I’m beginning to think there should be a “Remember the new location” category. Which in this case is the loading dock. I mean, of course, the abandoned warehouse, in the middle of the Warehouse District, that the Circle Band practices at would have one. It’s also something that everyone would take for granted that the building would have one and they wouldn’t talk about it.

So it’s hard to bring these things up for the first time without making it sound like someone requesting exposition. Fortunately, we have the relative newcomer, Nancy, here to ask the question.
