Once again I’m trying to bring back Kate’s circle of friends, Or more accurately, remind you the reader, that Laurel and Janet are originally part of Kate’s circle of friends, and certainly people she would buy a round of drinks for. In case it isn’t clear, the reason Kate wants Janet to say she doesn’t know her, is a desperate attempt to get around Hilda’s only two alcoholic beverages ultimatum.
