Kate’s written a lot of scenes like this in drunken frustration. She can be glad that Hilda didn’t pick the one where the entire setting was hit by a giant asteroid.

For those of you who were wondering, Captain Brandi appears to be Kate’s current protagonist. Don’t worry if you didn’t know that. There are times that I wonder if Kate does either. If the name becomes too objectionable, that’s what search and replace is for.
