Rhapsodies

I mentioned earlier that one of my goals is to integrate the cast more, starting with Paul, Kate, and Brian, since they live in the same apartment.

I generally like the interactions between Paul and Brian since Paul tends to be one of the few people who is relatively unfazed by Brian being Brian (if he couldn’t deal with Brian, he wouldn’t have rented the apartment). He does a good job of not letting the stuff Brian goes on about going over his head get to him.

The last time Brian and Paul ran into each other was here. With any luck, they’ll meet up more than twice a year from here on.

I’m not completely sure about the timeline here. It appears to be happening sometime in the evening or late afternoon in the previous strip. Gabriella had said they had had a gig. Though, unless he’s on his way to it, the timing is off.
