Rhapsodies

I got a relitively late start for the first day of this year’s Folklife. Firstly because I was running a little late finishing my week’s quota and also the ongoing construction on Mercer blocked my traditional route under Aurora Ave forcing me to double back a quarter of a mile in order to get to the Seattle Center.

All in all a good start. Friday always has the least going on so there’s no need to hurry to get there and once you do get there there is plenty of time to relax and get your bearings.

As for the sketching it was all a bit of a mixed several of them I thought turned out pretty well while others of them… didn’t. But I think I’m getting myself warmed up and there will be lots more to draw tomorrow.
