I always wish I could do more with Santa Lucia day. It has lots of potential in the form of pictures of a young Kate in full regalia ready to be used for family blackmail. Regrettably, it’s hard to use this without the context of the holiday. And since the Christmas story has usually started by then, I don’t have a chance to do that material.

So let’s go a couple of years ago to see some of those pictures being made. You may not recognize her with her natural hair color and being notably shorter, but that’s Erika behind Kate.
