Journey to the West Movie?
I’ve been a fan of the fantasy adventure Journey to the West for a very long time. I remember several children’s books about the adventures of Monkey fondly. And when I became aware of the entire story as well as the original material (I recomend the Anthony Yu translation) I liked it even better.
On a side note I’m very fond of Stephen Chow movies and consider him the master of Wu Xia comedy.
So when I heard that his version of Journey to the West is coming out in China this year I was very optimistic.
