Generally Rowan’s fine with casual just as long as it’s professional. But it’s nice to kick back when there aren’t any witnesses. Rowan and Tara’s conversation about Conal continues from here.
So it seems that Rowan’s plan… (and it might be Tara’s plan just as well) to take full advantage of how easy Brian can be.
I don’t think Tara’s quite as smart as Brian, but since she’s not quite as eccentric either, she’s more focused. This makes moving the occasional mountains a little bit easier.
At the moment Tara is claiming she’s the one who gave Ariane the information that it made it easier to hunt him down here.

It’s probably not fair to consider sparring between Tara and Brian, playtime, but it’s certainly appropriate.
Much to Rowan’s chagrin, Brian running late for important meetings is not uncommon. For anyone curious, Brian’s ringtone there is “Money, Money” from Caberet performed by Joel Gray and Liza Minelli.
Brian’s nonchalance about board meetings may drive Rowan to distraction, but thinking himself as the ringleader of a circus may be pushing it. I came so close to plagiarizing Terry Pratchett on the punchline here.
