To celebrate let’s go way back to the start of his career. Here he is, with the Hot Five, performing the Heebie Jeebies! by Boyd Atkins. While neither Armstrong or Atkins coined the word, they can certainly be given credit for bringing it into common parlence. It certainly is one of the best examples of Armstrong’s scat singing.
