For everyone in the Puget Sound area, my friend and colleague Mark Monlux is going to be interviewed by Saint Bryan on Evening Magazine this evening at 7:00 on Channel Five. Come give him your support.
Join me in wishing two of the most important men of the 19th century a very happy birthday. So happy birthday, Abe and Charles!
Okay Folks today it’s another go at Franz Liszt‘s Second Hungarian Rhapsody this time performed on the Piano by Bugs Bunny in Friz Freleng‘s “Rhapsody Rabbit”
Today we’re going back to Hugo Alfven and the second of his three Rhapsodies, the Uppsalarapsodi. (That’s Uppsala Rhapsody for those not up on their Svenska).
I lived in Uppsala for a year in junior high, (saw the funeral scene from Bergman‘s Fanny & Alexander being filmed) so I very much approve.
I thought I’d drop a quick note to tell everyone about the Seattle Graphic Artists Guild’s Graphic Novel Panel on Febuary 28th!

We’ll be covering :
Writing –structure, how to write a graphic novel, what tools you need to market your ideas.
Artwork- developing a story board, what to consider ahead of time, existing guidelines, examples, good & bad
Publishing & Marketing-establishing business, marketing, and production plans, how publishing is changing.
The panel will be held at the Seattle Design Center followed by a reception at Fantagraphics Bookstore. Both venues are in gorgeous Georgetown. You can preregister today at Brown Paper Tickets!
Today we’re back to Brahms with his Alto Rhapsody, Opus 53. This version is by London Philharmonic Orchestra with Clemens Krauss conducting and Kathleen Ferrier singing.
