Laurel is so ready for day two considering how well the first one went. She’s probably exaggerating about how Brian could redefine civilization but it doesn’t take too much imagination to see him try.
Yeah, Blossom. What is your friend doing that might require a status report? And what does he need dynamite for? Erika is referring back to Blossom recommending Bert as a useful research topic for her psychiatry paper.
Brian considers the fact that Olive will do whatever he asks to be a sign of a good and loyal employee. The possibility that she might be doing this because she’s terrified of him has yet to occur to him.

As Ms. Nyx is the one who makes most of Brian’s plans happen it’s best she stays behind the scenes. You don’t want the wrong people finding out, after all.
It looks like Blossom’s “family recipe” is working pretty well. It’s even leaving her a little overstimulated despite all of the alcohol and sleep deprivation it’s fighting. Here’s hoping there’s someone to catch her when she finally crashes.
