Well… in some relativist theories, ten hours is a very long time. Kate is still a little stressed out about this trip. Because of this, beautiful people wanting to be her friend makes her a little paranoid.

We didn’t see much of Fran’s point of view since she was mostly sitting around in the back for most of it. The Harriet she’s talking about is the woman Tara introduced her to.
Since all I know about these big screenings, are the glamorous Hollywood-style photoshoots, I can’t comment on Kate’s reaction. Nor can I claim anything resembling accuracy in this scene.
