It looks as if Deidre did have a game center and a lot of other good things after all (we’re still not sure about the swimming pool)
I won’t say that Deidre is naive in any way. It’s just that she has a depressing job. When she’s off the clock she prefers not to think about the bad things.
Is there some reason that this persons face is always hidden?
It’s meant to be her nature as a psychopomp. (sometimes it feels as if it’s more trouble than it’s worth) Technically one only sees her face ONCE>
