Kevin wasn’t sure just how long the elevator had been going dow since he had dozed off a few times. He was pretty sure it was way too long a time to get to the office which Peaseblossom had told him was just one floor down. He was beginning to wish she’d told him where the stairs were… It would have been faster.

After a while music started being piped through the intercom that sounded mostly classical, possibly a symphony that seemed to go on and on stopping only when the elevator stopped.

Kevin tried to get out but what seemed to be a small army of people dressed as office workers marched in. “Excuse me was that the administrative wing?” He asked. Nobody seemed to notice him. The elevator stopped a few more times and while it seemed crowded there always seemed to be room. Finally the elevator stopped at a floor that had a sign for a cafeteria and everybody walked out at once.

Kevin was left alone.

This is the second time we’ve seen the VIP elevator. Dielle was surprised by the lack of a final step as well.
