Gage’s panicked rambling is from the first page of H.P. Lovecraft’s Call of Cthulhu. I find it interesting that for all the “Things Man Was Not Meant To Know” thing has become a such a cliche, it’s really hard to find a good quote on the topic. Call of Cthulhu’s was the best I could find in short notice.
