“So why do you think it’s called the Lizard Lounge?” Kevin asked.

Bert looked up at him and blinked.

“Over their the hotel bar why do you think it’s called that.” Kevin pointed at what he was talking about. The sign on the door did indeed say Lizard lounge. Bert looked up at his finger and the turned to look at the bar. He shrugged.

“Okay suit yourself. “ Kevin said. He was bored that had to be the only reason that he was bothered to talk to the woodchuck. He didn’t like the hotel. It was hot and muggy and the carpets were squishy as if he was walking in mud. To make matters worse the place was crowded.

Peaseblossom had been arguing with the eel monster at the front desk for almost ten minutes and the line behind her had been growing ever since. Kevin wasn’t sure but a lot of them looked angry. It was really hard to tell with the lights down so low and to make things worse the mugginess of the lobby had gotten so bad that a thick mist had begun to seep through the room covering the floor up to their knees. At the same time, the wallpaper started to move. In the corner of his eye, he could see shadows moving and surrounding them.

“Do you know who our contact is?” He asked Bert. Bert shook his head. He was nearly chin deep in the mist now and nearly any gesture he made was completely hidden.

“I think I’m going to go get a drink. Sure it looks like the lights are busted in there but it can’t be any worse than out here. I don’t think Peaseblossom would want us to wait for her any longer than…”

“We all set!” Peaseblossom shouted interupting his train of thought.
