Brian hasn’t talked about this countdown yet because he assumes everyone knows what he’s talking about. Fortunately, that’s what he has Melody around for.  She’s there to work out the logistics of his big-picture plans.

So, essentially, she’s the Brad Pitt to his George Clooney.

I apologize, but now I have this stuck in my head. Knowing Brian’s sense of drama, he would too.
