It looks like Mr. Lo has heard the phrase promote the person who looks busy or at least seems too complacent.
While this may help Mr. Zhu’s concerns about Ms. Wan gunning for his job, it won’t help him sleep much better at night either.
It doesn’t help that Mr. Lo appreciates a little competition in the ranks.
