Time is everything for Blossom’s plans… Though since we’ve never seen any evidence to back it up we’ll have to take her word for it.
The meeting that Kate attended, and Hilda assures her it went splendidly, occurred off stage. We see Kris warning her about it here. There’s only so much of Kate’s insecurities that Hilda’s willing to put up with.
