Brian knew he’d find the perfect weapon… err… documentation eventually. This is not the first time he’s compared business with warfare. Looks like Rowan is going to have another talk with him before the conference begins.
Filing With The Other Woman
The fact that he’s going through the archives with an employee… who happens to be Olive, would be enough to tell someone Brian filing with the “other woman” is nothing to worry about. Sometimes we worry Janet needs help.
Brian should not use metaphors at the best of time. Even among most people, comparing useful information with explosives, might raise some eyebrows. It leaves Olive wondering if she’s working for terrorists!
Time For The War Council

Once again, Brian really needs to stop using words like “war council”, and other examples of hyperbole around people like Olive. The problem is, he probably is taking himself literally as well.
This isn’t the first time that Brian has sent Olive looking for a special file, (while telling her nearly as much) At this point, anyone else would start getting deja vous.
Brian isn’t deliberately keeping secrets from everybody. He just assumes his thought process is obvious, and everyone will figure it all out.
